Introduction The training mission to Belarus took place on 14 – 18 November, 2011 in Minsk at the Belarusian State Veterinary Centre with support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus. The training in Belarus was the first sustained training mission in the series to take place. The training was attended by 44 participants and it mainly covered topics such as Clinical signs; ASF Diagnosis and differential diagnosis; Risk analysis and public awareness and risk communication; biosecurity in pig sector; Control of ASF during outbreak, as well slaughter, destruction and decontamination etc.

Participants A total of 44 participants attended the workshop, including regional veterinary health officials and representatives from the Brest Region, Minsk Region, Mogilev Region, Grodno Region and Vitebsk Region.
