Third Laboratory Training in Denmark. 16-18 May, 2011
Introduction The sustained training mission to Mongolia consists of two training workshops which will take place from 27 June – 1 July and 4 – 8 July, 2011 in Ulan Bator.
The first instance of HPAI in Mongolia was discovered in 2005 in wild birds. An outbreak was reported in May 2010 in Ganga Lake on the border it shares with China, who also saw HPAI outbreaks in May. The most recent outbreak reported three animal deaths in April 2011.

Participants The workshop is expected to reach 60 – 70 veterinary officials and animal health workers.
